Safety Inspections

Canopy Tours Inc. prides itself on an impeccable safety record. We carry a comprehensive product liability insurance policy which covers all construction, training and safety inspections. All construction and inspections comply with local and federal safety regulations for our industry. As a member of the A.C.C.T and the P.R.C.A we stay abreast of all current safety practices in both construction and training. All equipment utilized has a minimum breaking strength of 7,000 lbs, and most exceed 10,000 lbs. All equipment is carefully selected and tested by our staff and others in the industry to ensure quality and safety. Our safety practices, construction designs, and training methods are at the cutting edge in our industry and we lead the way on comprehensive safety inspections and methods.

Canopy Tours Inc. requires at least 4 levels of safety inspections for all their canopy tours, and zip line tours.

  1. Bi-annual Complete Course Inspection
    All components and gear are meticulously inspected by the owner of Canopy Tours Inc. Bradd Morse.
  2. Weekly Complete Course Inspection
    All components and gear are inspected by the Course Manager (Taught as part of our 80 hour Training Program)
  3. Daily Course and Gear Visual Inspection
    All components are inspected before use at the beginning of each day. (Taught as part of our 80 hour Training Program)
  4. Guide Continual Course Inspection
    As the guide leads the way through the course they are constantly viewing and inspecting the course as they go. (Taught as part of our 80 hour Training Program)
